Introducing Amani Rumba workshops’ amazing facilitators

Posted: May 20, 2018 by Amani Creatives in Rumba, Uncategorized

Born in Havana-Cuba, Damian started dancing from the age of 6 in the Havana Carnival in which his dad performed as a musician.

At the age of 15, Damian integrated a company dance called Havana Arte. At 19, he started singing and playing maracas for his Godfather Miguel Hinojosa.

Damian started  teaching Cuban Salsa in 2007, one year after moving to the UK. His class is all about expressing the feeling of the motion and also learning the Cuban music/dance steps; Rumba, Orishas, Son, Salsa, Cha Cha Cha.

Learning body movement and playing to the beat of Cuban music are few of Damian’ speciality.
